Let me help you get back to doing the activities you love.
Dr. Hanna grew up in the small town of Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan, but always had a
dream of moving out to the Okanagan! The outdoors and active lifestyle of Kelowna is
what attracted her to officially call this place home. She was always involved with sports
growing up but took a more serious interest in hockey from a young age. This led her to
move away from home in High School to play AAA hockey and eventually to Calgary
where she played college hockey at SAIT. Over the years, she experienced several
sport-related injuries that Chiropractic care was able to treat and resolve. She realized
the whole-body benefits of chiropractic treatment, which ultimately drove her to pursue
this career and help others.
Dr. Hanna has a background in rehab, as she received her Physical/Occupational
Therapy Assistant Diploma from SAIT in 2016. From there, she continued her studies at
the University of Calgary where she received her degree in Community Rehabilitation
and Disability Studies. She then went on to Northwestern Health Sciences University in
Bloomington, Minnesota where she graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2023.
While in Chiropractic school, Dr. Hanna took additional courses such as Taping,
Advanced Upper and Lower Extremities, Concussion Baseline Testing as well as many
others to graduate with a Sports and Rehabilitation Emphasis. Dr. Hanna is FAKTR
certified (Functional and Kinetic treatment with rehab) and also incorporate soft tissue
techniques along with manipulation and mobilization into treatments.
When Dr. Hanna is not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time golfing, hiking,
paddleboarding, snowboarding, and of course checking out the local wineries/breweries.
Dr. Hanna knows how important it is to live an active lifestyle so it is her goal to get you
back to the activities you enjoy most.
